Saville Consulting Wave Reports

Type Report

Saville Consulting Wave Types are based on the demands and characteristics of the world of work in the 21st Century. They are underpinned by our comprehensive validation research.

Why Type matters?

We have drawn together modern strands of thinking on individual differences, leadership, management, team behaviour and culture fit. Our research in this area enables us to provide individuals with one type that summarises their overall approach to work, their interaction with others and helps them understand the types that are most likely to complement their approach.

Saville Consulting Wave Types are performance driven. They are validation based types, focusing on the characteristics that directly relate to people being superior in their performance, promotability and competence at work.

The Report

The report draws on the four clusters of Wave Professional Styles Assessment

  • Thought
  • Influence
  • Adaptability
  • Delivery

It gives a picture of an individual's People Type and also their Task Type. These are combined to create their overall Saville Consulting Wave Type.

Applications of Saville Consulting Wave Type

Saville Consulting Wave Type gives you a simple, clear picture that links directly to effective work behaviours:

Management and Leadership Development

Type helps individuals to understand their core leadership and management behaviours, how their approach differs from others and what they need to be aware of in order to optimize their leadership of others. This can be achieved individually via coaching or in workshop format thereby allowing individual managers to compare and contrast their approach with leaders of other types.

Team Development

Type has a major impact on team work and team development. By creating a balanced team score card, you can assess whether a team is missing an important skill, has an abundance of a particular type, or a complementary blend of approaches that ensures the team is effective in the areas of strategy, communication, flexibility and implementation.

Change Management

A change management project can be made significantly more effective by
equipping individuals to understand how their attitude to change differs from others and how they can be instrumental in making the implementation of change more successful.
