Kieron O'Connor, IT Director
Kieron O’Connor joins the Saville Consulting Group from the IVIS Group where he was a Technical Consultant developing the website for leading grocery retailer Tesco. Kieron's role within the Saville Consulting Group has been the creation of the technical architecture that underpins the ethos of the business. Previously he was employed by the SHL as a Software Consultant, but was soon promoted to the role of Lead Developer. This complex position involved working on multiple, high transaction, global systems, whilst leading teams of internal and external developers on a range of international projects. Mentoring and training junior staff was also a part of the role, as was software development, best practice and QA. Whilst at SHL, Kieron also conducted a number of high profile analysis and design projects using UML, during his time at SHL developing bespoke software packages using a wide range of computing languages.
Kieron’s extensive knowledge and industry experience includes .Net, Visual Basic, SQL, HTML and VBScript, in addition to using Delphi in developing voicemail and multimedia tests and MS Windows skills gained from development and user support. He began his career by gaining a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies and then went on to Brunel University to read for an Honours Degree in Computer Science. Kieron also became a Microsoft Certified Professional in 1999.
Kieron spends his leisure time socialising with friends and keeping fit at the local gym. He also finds reading fiction a good way to relax.
