Joel has over 10 years of public sector and corporate personnel selection and development consulting experience. As Managing Consultant, he is responsible for providing commonsense hiring solutions with business impact. Prior to Saville Consulting, Joel was Director of Human Capital Solutions at Performance Assessment Network, Inc. (pan), which was acquired by TALX Corporation in April 2006. Prior to pan, he consulted at SHL USA and at Verizon Communications within the Employee Selection and Leadership Development groups.

Joel expertise includes job analysis, test development and validation, competency-based interview development and training, individual/management assessment and development, and web-based testing systems and hiring solutions. He has designed assessment and development programs for entry-level, frontline supervisors, managers/directors, and executive positions. His solutions incorporate personal selection science with intelligent and efficient web-based technology. His clients particularly enjoy his passion for customer service and drive for business results based on business needs.

Joel has implemented programs for industry leaders like 7-Eleven, Accenture, Blockbuster, Capital One, Circle K, FedEx Kinko's, Harrah's Entertainment, JCPenney, Target, and many others.

Joel holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), Division 14 of the American Psychological Association (APA).
