Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to work across multi-disciplinary teams and drive delivery throughout our business.

Our core business is to develop innovative internet-based psychometric tests, questionnaires and selection tools. Saville Consulting is an international business founded in 2004 by Professor Peter Saville (previously the founder of SHL Group plc). The team comprises human resource specialists in psychology, business consulting and information technology, all of whom share Peter's passion for delivering innovation in assessment.

We are located in Claygate, Surrey

Role

As a Project Manager, the role will include driving the delivery of internal and external projects, both with internal staff and outsourced contractors. Projects will be related to new product development, enhancements to existing products and/or bespoke client requests. The role will liaise across all the teams in the business, the primary contacts will be within the Research and Development Product team and the IT teams. Numerous projects run in parallel and have interdependencies, planning must take account of this.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Managing distributed teams
  • Track record of delivering projects within set timescales that meet quality and budget constraints
  • Risk management
  • Experience of the Microsoft stack (TFS, .Net, SQL Server) with the ability to be hands-on if required
  • Specifying outsourced projects
  • Managing outsourced work projects
  • Leadership skills
  • Co-ordination of multi disciplinary teams
  • Influencing skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Deadline and target orientation

Desirable:

  • Prince2, PMP or other similar qualification
  • Use of Scrum/DSDM/XP or other agile methodology
